The first all in one air conditioner
A genuine breakthrough in air conditioning systems, the Unico provides an elegant, effective and efficient room air conditioner solution. The Unico range uses innovative engineering that combines the operations of the outdoor and indoor units into one self-contained unit, removing the need for pipe work and external condensers.
Easy, low cost installation
No specialist skills are required. The units can be installed quickly and easily entirely from inside the room. Simply drill two holes through an external wall allowing the two patented folding grilles to be located and fixed from within the room, eliminating the need to gain access to the outside of the building. Everything needed to fix the unit is provided except a drill and core bit.
Versatile and Discreet external grilles
By eliminating the pipe work and external condensers usually associated with installed systems, installation is simple and makes air conditioning practical in places where previously an external condenser would have been unsightly, or simply impractical. The only external evidence of air conditioning is two discreet grilles, so the visual integrity of the building is maintained. This is of particular benefit where planning permission is a consideration. And because the nits operate independently, they can be installed to provide climate control on a room-by-room basis with minimum disruption, requiring only a standard 13amp electrical supply.
A range for all seasons
The indoor air to air packaged air conditioners from Unico can be used in a variety of settings from home to the office, or even a hotel. The Unico range consists of nine models, all provide air conditioning with cooling capacity ranging from 2.05 kW to 3.2 kW. Five models are also capable of heating (four heat pump versions) from 1.4 kW to 2.55kW, ensuring effective climate control all year round.
High and Low Level Mounting
High and Low Level Mounting The Unico can be installed at high or low level. The Unit is supplied ready for low level mounting, when the Unico is installed at high level, the casing is simply reversed to accommodate the change of airflow. Flexibility to fit at high or low level from within the room also allows you to position the unit to fit with room design & décor.
Whisper quiet operation
Including special night-time mode which reduces noise & a timer function that allows you set a period of time that the unit will run before shutting down resulting in a range of quiet air conditioners. This mode makes these units ideal as air conditioners and heaters for hotel rooms or for residential heating and air conditioning
Automatic operation
Including an infra red remote control unit maintains the climate & allows you to set on/off schedules e.g. to turn on an hour before you get home from work.
Improved air quality
The Unico Sky has a unique air exchange system that draws out stale air to ensure the highest quality of climate control. The Unico Star range employs an optional 'fresh air kit'.
